Abstract
Study was carried out between the periods November 2015 to October 2016 from the Ghaghara river at Faizabad, India. The total length of fishes varied from 157 to 887 mm. The maximum exploitation was recorded in 351-450 mm size group fishes with 29.59%. Large size fishes shared small proportions. The current exploitation was indicated that the fishing pressure was recorded in small size group of fishes.
